UKRAINIAN REFUGEES

Hope Across Borders is a small grassroots volunteer organization that was established to try and help with the Ukrainian refugee crisis. We also aim to provide help to those may not have left home and are continuing to live in areas that have been adversely affected by the war. Our areas of focus have been those displaced within Ukraine, those who have been displaced to Poland, and those who have been displaced to the United States of America. We try to bring supplies, such as food, hygiene, and warm clothes to refugee centers, as well as find ways to assist with other immediate needs that are specific to individuals and small groups in these different areas.

UKRAINE'S HISTORY ESCALATED

Economic hardships resulting from the conflict, including job losses and limited access to basic necessities, have further exacerbated the situation, prompting some Ukrainians to flee to more stable and prosperous countries.

As of March 2023, more than 8 million citizens have fled Ukraine to find refuge in other countries and millions more have been internally displaced within Ukraine.

It was in early 2022, as the invasion continued to cripple Ukraine that we decided to get involved and do what we could to support these families and individuals seeking stability.

Our efforts are focused on helping Ukrainian refugees who have been driven from their homes, and find themselves in need of supplies and assistance both within Ukrainian borders and outside.
