In 50 days, Win & Lena turn 50.
Win and Lena were born on the same day, in the same year, but grew up worlds apart. One in Utah, the other in Ukraine. Years later, their paths crossed in Kraków, Poland, where they were both assisting people and families who were displaced by the war in Ukraine.

To mark this milestone, they’re choosing to give back.
In partnership with the Rotary Club in Ukraine, we’re working to transform a school bomb shelter into a safe, sanitary space for children.
For the next 50 days, we’re raising funds to make this possible, so children can find not just protection, but comfort and cleanliness during air alerts.
Air raids used to be most frequent at night, but now they’re happening much more during the school day.
That means children are spending more and more time underground, inside school bomb shelters.
But many of these shelters aren’t equipped for it.

Right now, children in this school are using buckets as toilets.
There are no proper bathrooms, no sinks, no sanitary space.
It’s not just uncomfortable, it’s unsafe, undignified, and something these children should not have to endure.
We’re working to change that.
Through this campaign, we’re raising funds to install real toilets, sinks, and a safe sanitary area. Our goal is to create a space where children can stay not only safe, but cared for.
Together, we can replace buckets with real bathrooms, giving children a safer, more dignified place during the hardest moments of their day.
In honor of Win & Lena’s 50th birthdays, be part of something meaningful.
